This moisturizing lip balm is sunshine in a quarter ounce tube. Put it directly on your lips so they will look and feel lovely. It will naturally repel water and protect your lips.
This balm is in a standard tube for lips, but make no mistake, this balm can be used on any bit of your skin that needs it!
This balm gets it's beautiful yellow color from a dandelion infused olive oil. I handpicked the dandelions from my yard, dried them, and infused them in the olive oil. The oil is strained, but retains it's gorgeous golden color and an almost honey-like smell!
Dandelion Orange Balm
What is a salve?
I make salves, butters, and balms. So, what is the difference? They all have the same ingredients: Beeswax, Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, and Essential Oils. Confused yet? The difference comes with the amount of the ingredients. The SALVE is in a tin and has more of the liquid oil ingredients making it the "softest" and most pliable of the three products. It tends to have a firm top layer to break through. The "hardest" product that holds its form, but glides smooth is the BALM. It is sold as a lip balm, but honestly can also be used on skin anywhere. It has more of the beeswax and butters. There is a middle option, the BUTTER. It comes in a 1/2 ounce large stick form and can be applied directly to the skin or to the hands and then to the skin. The ingredients are balanced.
How do I store my new product?
Store in a cool, dry place. Product itself is waterproof, but makes it difficult to apply to skin when mixed with water. Let it dry. If product gets too cold, you might be unable to apply it. Let it warm up to room temp. If product gets too warm, it will melt, leave it in it's containter and let it cool down. Once it soldifies, you can use it again!
